The most updated and complete collection, at a national level, of the areas of Architecture, Design and Urban Studies, with more than 80,000 items on shelves, is what is found in the Lo Contador Library, as well as a large collection of magazines and a selection of rare and precious books, among which are unique copies in the country.

Located in the Sergio Larraín García Moreno Information and Documentation Centre building, it is the work of the architects Teodoro Fernández, Smiljan Radic, Cecilia Puga and Patricio Mardones. This work has a total of 3162 m2, distributed in three underground floors.
