Design requires to make progress, and for this a multidisciplinary environment is necessary in order to give concrete solutions to highly complex problems.

Because today design can not only be used to create products, services, spaces, interactions and experiences that satisfy a function or solve a problem; Today, it also allows those solutions to be desirable and to connect emotionally with people.

In order to gain experience, our students have to complete two internships:

• The Professional Internship is oriented so that the student observes and understands from the work experience, the value of the design in a market influenced by variables of social, productive, economic, environmental, cultural and political order. In the internship, the student will apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes developed during their training, analyzing and detecting development opportunities and design intervention in the company or organization that receives them, proactively contributing in design or preferably multidisciplinary teams.
• The Service Internship is oriented to place the students in the social reality, facing them with complex problems, where from design they can contribute with an ethical posture, the positive impact in sustainable development, the social benefit and the improvement on the quality of life of people. In the internship, the student will apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes developed during their training, analyzing and detecting development opportunities, mediating their actions through a nonprofit institution, foundation or organization, public or private.
